Questions to Ask Your Reception Venue...

• Minimum and maximum seating capacity?
• Can you provide menu samples and are we able to suggest our own menu ideas?
• Do you provide a bar service and what time are you licensed to serve?
• Can we provide our own alcohol? What is the corkage charge?
• Are there any additional charges for hire of table linens, cake stands, etc…
• Are we allowed to use candles at the venue?
• Are there any other weddings taking place on the same day?
• Do you allow firework displays?
• Will there be anyone to oversee things on the day?
• Where will your photographs be taken?
• Will the venue need to turn the room around after your meal for the disco? How long will this take?
• When do you need a deposit and how much is it? When will final payment be due?
• Is there anything that you would like to ask me or anything that I should have asked?

If your Recepetion Venue is a Hotel also consider asking…

• Can our guests stay overnight? How may rooms do you have?
• What time can our guests check in / out?
• Do you offer airport transfers?
• Do you offer special rates for wedding guests?
