  • Seek a qualified expert who can set out your goals and write your plan specific to the months ahead
  • Request a fitness assessment and exercise and diet audit – a good personal training expert will write you a longer term plan and will refer you to experts in their own field
  • Consider your plan and whether training on your own, in a gym or with a personal trainer
  • Ensure that you budget for regular online coaching sessions with your personal training coach
  • Get your friends or family or bridesmaids onside and consider regular team workouts as part of your plan – share the cost
